Getting ready

Have been getting things ready for Marie's expected litter! As this is her first litter, she doesn't know what to expect, so is relying on me, to get all in order. So, out came the special whelping box, where the puppies will be born, and stay for at least until they are 3 weeks. Since it hasn't been used in a while, a thorough cleaning was in order.
I am also on my fourth load of washing towels and blankets, followed by sorting and folding. That will do it for today!
Marie even her large state, has been going for a couple of walks a day, but isn't walking as perky, as she did a few weeks ago and today she started nesting (natural way of preparing a den for her pups) outside in a couple corners of my garden!!
